![]() ![]() References to other IPs are kept to a tasteful minimum. The game's tone is light and humorous, but not specifically jokey. ![]() The actual telling of the story is a little choppy, but it's still not terribly hard to follow. The Mosse family seeks to repair a machine of great power that is capable of turning the tables on the evil rich folks and undoing the damage they have done. Hijinks ensue, and he eventually ends up as a fugitive, wanted by a nefarious intergalactic megacorp. One day, when his mother in on her way to a meeting with a shady businessman, he stows away and tags along. Henry is a good kid, but a bit of a troublemaker, and he longs for adventure. The game follows a 15-year-old boy who works a planetary delivery gig with his mother, a former space explorer. The game is suitable for all ages, and while I enjoyed it as an adult, I would especially recommend it if you are shopping for children in the ~9-11 age range. I had originally supported this game through a crowdfunding campaign which was unfortunately not successful, so I salute the developers for pushing through that setback and putting out such an enjoyable experience. This is a lighthearted adventure game in the vein of The Inner World or Willy Morgan and the Curse of Bonetown. Henry Mosse and the Wormhole Conspiracy is a game that was on my radar for quite a while, and I am really glad it's finally out and I am able to play it. If you are looking for a fun, relaxing, silly, immersive and pretty point and click game with just the right amount of adventure, this one's for you! I got this on a bit of a sale but having played it, I would have paid full price for it. I am not done yet - not sure how far I am from the end but I'm hoping there's quite a bit more to go - it's hard to tell from the few reviews I've read (also, as a note, I've left the game on some, so my current playtime is not accurate). Even the vending machine! ( I thought she was just great) The voice acting is aces -natural and smooth not stilted like in some games - and it's so much fun! The characters really come to life through their voices. I love how many different areas there have been so far too. ![]() There is a surprisingly lot of things to interact with (which I love) and I find I am really enjoying the art style! (It's a lot more thoughtful and detailed than you'd think). That said, I actually think it's great!! It has made me laugh out loud a lot of times and I have really really enjoyed my play time so far. I ended up getting it because of the point-and-click genre (which I love) and the nature of the few (3? 4?) reviews that were up. ![]() Nothing really stood out about it that caught my interest. I was unsure about this one after watching the trailer.
